GSP 11 Components

GSP component blocks
GSP 11 introduces a new concept in evaluating the modelling software. Rather than having a crippled version, the GSP 11 LE is fully functional. The only drawback of the LE is that the input data entered in the data entry window is not stored on saving the project. Below the components are listed that can be saved (free) or cannot be saved (licensed). Using this concept every user is free to try the full capabilities of GSP.

  • flow splitter
       splits the flow into two separate flows

       define a custom fluid that enters the gas turbine

       heat soakage and heat capacity are taken into account
  • pressure vessel
  • back pressure exhaust
       model the back pressure as a result of a boiler in the exhaust

       controls the splitting of the flow splitter

       controls the pressure and temperature of the pressure vessel

       controls the amount of coolant in the intercooler component

       mixes two types of user specified composition fuels
  • back pressure exhaust control
       controls the pressure at the end of the back pressure exhaust component
  • PLA controlled exhaust nozzle control
  • bleed scheduler
       schedule the bleed air as function of corrected rotor speed
  • flight scheduler
       creates a set of ambient conditions to represent the flight envelope of a certain engine
  • design point sweep component
       calculate design point sweeps for selected parameters
  • equation schedule control
       control engine based on user specified equation (output parameter or component
       property parameter)
  • 1-D table look-up schedule control
       control engine based on user specified equation using a 1-D look-up table
  • map schedule control
       control engine based on user specified equation using a map
  • generic schedule control
       This powerfull schedule control component contains functionality of last 3 schedule
       control components.
