What's new ?

  Date Description
19-01-2007 GSP users fourum has been been updated to a new forum software suite.
12-09-2005 GSP10.0.2.7 has been released for Beta testing. This release containes reported bug fixes, improvements and many new features: e.g. a new set of components in the supplementary components. Download GSP LE Beta here.
07-09-2005 A report based on ASME GT2004-53721 paper "A generic approach for gas turbine adaptive modeling" has been released. Download the report here.
15-01-2005 GSP10 is released (version 10.0.1.6), and can be obtained here.
This version includes several small improvements and fixes. A new feature is the addition of the "installation effects component". Please look here for the complete change list.
20-12-2004 GSP10 is released (version 10.0.1.5), and can be obtained here.
New components have been added to the supplementary components library (registered version only): Equation Schedule Control, 1-D Table Look-Up Schedule Control, Map Schedule Control, (a powerfull Schedule controller with functionality of last 3 Schedule Control components), Generic Power Control, Simple After Burner Control, Limiter and a Property Control.
01-07-2004 The ISA implementation has been updated to support the altitude range -5 to 80 km (previous -2 to 20)
16-04-2004 GSP10 is released (version 10.0.0.6), and can be obtained here.
25-07-2003 GSP10 is about to be released as beta. GSP10 has new functionality: SI/Imperial unit choice, design point sweep component (suppl), carpet plot, propellor component (suppl), zoom turbine (suppl), and more. Users on the mailing list will be notified when GSP10 is released.
14-07-2003 Antonino Pontecorvo has won a free GSP Standard license with his MGT case study! We encourage users to send in their case studies showing creative use of GSP. Want to know more? See the details.
18-03-2003 The licensing and pricing for GSP has been re-evaluated and is now available. You can also order your license online.
27-02-2003 The website is extended with a user list. A limited amount of users has agreed to have their name advertised in the list. If you would also like to be on the list, send us an email!
20-02-2003 The website is extended with a user forum. The forum should be used for all your comments, questions and discussions on GSP and on gasturbines in general. Through the forum both the GSPteam as well as other users can help you and share their GSP experience.
14-02-2003 The GSP webpage has moved to www.gspteam.com. The email address for information is now info@gspteam.com. Please update your bookmarks!
04-12-2002 GSP now has a new capability under development:
- run GSP from 3rd party programs through API/DLL
The API/DLL will become available in the first quarter of 2003 and will only be available under special license. For more information, contact us!
01-11-2002 The website is extended with screen shots of the GSP user interface and several complex models. These show the flexibility and power of GSP.
13-09-2002 GSP 9103 has been released. With GSP 9103 the progress box now shows the total simulation progress as well as how many iteration per time step are remaining.
20-02-2002 A powerful new feature: the GSP 9 solver now automatically adapts step size if a solution can not be found for transient and steady state series calculations after a user specified number of unsuccesful inverse Jacobian updates. Step size is halved until convergence is realized and then reset to specified size after a (user specified) time. See the Model window Options|Iteration. Furthermore, if transient and steady state series calculations are aborted due to errors and/or convergence problems, the user is asked to 'attempt continued calculation with model reset and new jacobian' to directly continue calculation (instead of having to restart the calculation at the last timestep).
13-12-2001 Cool: GSP 9 now has a convergence monitor to help solve iteration/convergence problems and tune iteration control options/parameters. To see the convergence monitor in action, click View|Convergence in the model window.
14-09-2001 GSP9 released ! GSP9 introduces a new concept in the distribution: GSP9 is available as 'light' version, which (rather than a handicapped demo version) has full functionality but only standard component models and no modelling support. More advanced types of simulation and analysis will require additional component libraries and support, for which a license must be obtained.
14-09-2001 The GSP site setup had been altered. Since frames are no longer used, direct linking to specific pages within the site is now possible. You can for instance now directly bookmark the download page!
20-02-2001 GSP Technical Paper available as final version (see Documentation)
01-02-2001 First version of the GSP website publicly available
01-09-2000 Initiated design and implementation of the GSP website
